Dual Pencil Neck is an adaptation from the Pencil Neck cadence (also available through JW3.com). I believe that this was originally written around 2002? There's A LOT of rhythmic interplay between the parts so really learn how the opposite part fits in when playing it. I also wrote in two phrases of rhythmic illusion where a different downbeat feel is super-imposed over the 4/4 time. Make sure that when you play these you're grounded within the 4/4 pulse--let the listener get sucked into the false pulse, not you! Make the beats gel, Bill ><>
