Pencil Neck is a cadence for the advanced drumline. I wrote this one back in 2000 I believe and I really can't remember exactly what for! It's a cool one though featuring sectional solos, two whole phrases that are built on rhythmic illusions, quirky interplay between the sections, and plenty of rudimental demand. Along with perfecting the execution, make sure that it feels good!
