B-B-Boatnick is a cadence for the young drumline. I wrote the original version of this in 2003 for the annual "Boatnick" parade which takes place in lovely Grant's Pass Oregon. This newly revamped cadence features a latin style groove section, rhythmic challenges switching from straight rhythms to triplet rhythms, isolated flams, paradiddles, as well as rolls which are generally set up with rhythmic check patterns. Please note that B-B-Boatnick can easily be lengthened by repeating the A section after the B section right before C. Along with perfecting the execution, make sure that it feels good!

This cadence is written for 3, 4 and 5 Bass Drums.
