Opie's Changes by Bill Bachman

This solo was written up in a Canadian cabin during Christmas break 2002 for me to play at a Drum Festival (& really just to have an easier solo to play at clinics). My plan didn't quite work--it's still pretty darn hard. I also wanted to write a new solo because I hadn't written anything in a while and it was time for some fresh beats. It's called "Opie's Changes" for a few reasons: I wanted to write in some odd times for a change, part of it was inspired by a Yes song called "Changes," and it was right after I accepted Christ and my whole life changed.
